The Wooden Athletic Fund is the cornerstone of UCLA Athletics’ fundraising efforts, providing essential support for nearly 700 student-athletes across all sports.
Philanthropic gifts above and beyond seat-related giving fuel the success of our student-athletes in competition, in the classroom, and in the community and are 100% tax-deductible.
The best seats in our venues are available to our donors. These seats are accompanied by required annual seat-related gifts that support athletic operations. Seat-related gifts are not tax-deductible.
All Wooden Athletic Fund donors receive exclusive communications, the ability to request away game and postseason tickets, and first access to single-game ticket pre-sales.

Here is how your support of the Wooden Athletic Fund positively enhances the student-athlete experience for nearly 700 student-athletes at UCLA.

Nutrition and Athletic Performance
- 19 Full -Time Staff, Student- Athlete Meals, Nutrition Station
- 9 meals provided for each student athlete every week
- $1,000 covers snacks for one student-athlete for an academic year
5.2 Million
Sports Medicine and Wellness
- 23 Full-Time Staff, Mental Health, Medical Expenses
- $1,200,000 for Mental Health Services
- $30,000 covers therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation equipment
2.4 Million
Academic Support & Development
- 50 Full-Time Tutors and Operating Costs
- $6,500 covers books for one student-athlete per academic year
1.9 Million
Student-Athlete Services
- 11 Full-Time Staff, Operating Costs
- $15,000 covers costs for student-athlete career development programming for one athletic team
